I've included different "checklists" in here before. They are great quick references to make sure the thing you are designing feel complete. Is the encounter dynamic? Ok, this is sick. The premise of this article is that when designing a setting, you should consider whether there is one, ten, or a million of something. Gods, dungeons, or kingdoms, this principle allows you to lock down whether something is unique, part of a small distinct group, or literally everywhere.
