7 Myths Everyone Believes About Druids - Goblin Punch

Anarchist eco-terrorist druids are way cooler than the hippy tree-lovers we're used to. Arnold knocked this article out of the park. It is oozing with the exact type of fantasy worldbuilding that I love so much and I will definitely be stealing some of the ideas he presents for my own games. I'm particularly obsessed with his druidic resurrection flavor. Give it a read!

Sandboxing! | Running the Game - Matthew Colville

A Colville Classic. It's crazy this video is 6 years old. I remember when I first stumbled upon this video, it was very influential in my understanding and passion for the sandbox style of play in TTRPGs. If you want a refresher about what makes sandbox play unique and awesome, give it a watch.

So You Want To Be A Game Master - Justin Alexander

I pre-ordered this book as soon as it was announced and it finally arrived in my mailbox yesterday. I began reading it instantly, and while I haven't finished the book, I can without a doubt already say that this is the best book on DMing I've read thus far. I can't recommend it enough, Justin weaves together all of his DMing philosophy into one cohesive formula that is easy to understand and will immediately elevate your game. Whether you are an experienced DM or you are new to the hobby, get this book!!

I hope these resources inspire you! If you haven't already, the best way to stay up to date with everything hothead-related is to join the discord. See you next week!
