34 Good Traps - Bastionland
Just a great post about what makes a good trap and some examples. Steal the examples completely or tweak them slightly to fit your narrative or theme.
A World Not Desperate to Explain Itself - Quest Maker
This is a fantastic video about a specific type of worldbuilding. Worldbuilding that is not afraid to leave gaps specifically for the audience to question and come up with answers of their own. One campaign, many GMs, no bookkeeping - Sirly Whirly Blog
I'm always interested in new ways of formatting TTRPGs campaigns. Especially if they allow larger groups of players to explore a shared space. The most common example of this type of play is the "West Marches" style of play, but in this blog post the author goes over their own style that achieves a similar goal through different procedures. Check it out and see if it might inspire your own home games!
I hope these resources inspire you! If you haven't already, the best way to stay up to date with everything hothead-related is to join the discord. See you next week!
